Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck will reportedly avoid any retrospective action from UEFA following his alleged dive against AC Milan on Thursday night.
The 27-year-old went down under minimal contact from Ricardo Rodriguez to win his side a penalty at a key point in the Europa League tie, which the Gunners went on to win 5-1 on aggregate.
Sky Sports News reports that European football's governing body is in the process of reviewing all key incidents from this week's matches, and a decision on whether Welbeck faces a punishment will be made on Monday.
However, it is claimed that despite having broad powers and the ability to call on any evidence they think worthwhile, UEFA will likely let the matter slide.
Speaking after the match, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insisted that he could not comment on the incident as he did not see it.
