How Arsenal could line up against Blackpool

Ahead of Saturday's FA Cup clash between Blackpool and Arsenal, Sports Mole looks at Unai Emery's side could line up at Bloomfield Road.

Arsenal make the trip to the North-West of England to face Blackpool having suffered three defeats in their last six outings in all competitions.

The Gunners have lost out to Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, leaving Unai Emery with question marks over several areas of his team.

However, Arsenal enjoy playing in the FA Cup and the North London outfit are attempting to win this competition for the fourth time in six years.

Emery will make changes for the visit to Bloomfield Road, and here Sports Mole looks at how his team could line up against the League One outfit.

Out: Henrikh Mkhitaryan (foot), Rob Holding (knee), Danny Welbeck (ankle), Hector Bellerin (calf),
Doubtful: Nacho Monreal (thigh), Mesut Ozil (knee), Shkodran Mustafi (thigh), Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin), Emile Smith Rowe (hip)

Eddie Nketiah is likely to be used in attack, but Alexandre Lacazette could still feature on the left flank after being substituted early during the second half against Fulham.

Aaron Ramsey should also start, but Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira are likely to be rested with Mohamed Elneny and Matteo Guendouzi being used in central midfield.

Emery must decide whether to involve Mesut Ozil if the German has recovered from a knee injury, although the playmaker may be saved for the club's next outing in the Premier League.

Shkodran Mustafi will be rested and the game could come too soon for Konstantinos Mavropanos, but Carl Jenkinson is likely to come into contention at right-back.

A number of youngsters should also feature in the squad although Arsenal will - at most - only have five more matches to play throughout the rest of January.
