Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor says that the team did not make the most of their chances against Arsenal in the FA Cup.

Emmanuel Adebayor has said that Tottenham Hotspur failed to take their chances during their FA Cup defeat to Arsenal.

Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky both found the back of the net for the Gunners, sealing their place in the fourth round of the competition at the expense of their local rivals.

The Spurs striker told the club's official website: "It was a tough game. We knew before coming here it was going to be very tough, but I think we played quite well.

"We had a lot of chances but we didn't take them. We know that, playing at Arsenal, if we have a chance we have to take it. They took their chances and punished us and that's it to be honest.

"They moved the ball very well. They are through. We just have to focus on the league now and do everything it takes to win against Crystal Palace on Saturday. For me that is the most important thing now."

Tottenham had 13 shots during the game, just one fewer than the home side.
