Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin has praised the team's defensive display following Sunday's win over Hull City in the FA Cup.
The holders made it through to the fourth round of the competition as they saw off the Tigers 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
With the Gunners having come under fire in recent weeks for some shaky performances at the back, Bellerin believes that the team looked "very solid" yesterday afternoon.
"We were very solid at the back so we weren't scared at any moment," the Spaniard told the club's official website. "The team defended really well and then we were confident when we went forward and created our chances. We got two goals and it was a really good performance by the team.
"It's good because we had two young players at the back as well. It's good that we can show as well that we can defend and that the team can still be really secure with us there."
Arsenal are back in action on January 11 when they host Stoke City in the Premier League.
