Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud wants his side to push on next season after he reveals that he is brimming with pride following their FA Cup win over Hull City.

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has revealed that he is elated to have won the FA Cup and now wants his side to push on next season.

The Gunners ended their nine-year wait for a major trophy as they came from 2-0 down to defeat Hull City 3-2 in the final at Wembley thanks to an extra-time winner from Aaron Ramsey.

Giroud told the club's official website: "It's amazing to win a trophy. It's a part of the story of Arsenal - it's really important and I'm really proud to have [won] this trophy.

"Hopefully next year and in the following years, we will have more. We have a really good squad. I believe we have a good chance to have some great seasons."

Arsenal will also play in the Champions League next season after finishing fourth in the Premier League.
