Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has lavished praise on Alexis Sanchez after the Chilean capped off his debut campaign in English football with a goal in the FA Cup final this afternoon.
Walcott opened the scoring against Aston Villa at Wembley before Sanchez doubled the advantage with a swerving long-range strike - his 25th goal of the season for the Gunners.
Arsenal went on to win 4-0 for a record 12th FA Cup crown, and Walcott reserved special praise for Sanchez after the match.
"I've had limited opportunities [to play alongside him] but when I've been on the pitch with him me and him have linked up very well, he's a flash player, he's very talented," he told BBC Sport.
Walcott also thanked manager Arsene Wenger for showing faith in him by starting him ahead of Olivier Giroud up front.
