How Arsenal could line up against Crystal Palace

Sports Mole looks at how Arsenal could line up for their London derby with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday.

Arsenal will be bidding for a 12th successive win in all competitions when they take on Crystal Palace in a London derby at Selhurst Park on Sunday.

The Gunners have taken maximum points from every game since mid-August to leave themselves in fourth place, just two points off Manchester City and Liverpool heading into gameweek 10.

A 1-0 win over Sporting Lisbon in Portugal on Thursday extended their winning streak to leave them just three victories short of their all-time record of 14 successive wins.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Unai Emery could set his side out in an attempt to move closer to that milestone.

Out: Laurent Koscielny (Achilles), Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin)
Doubtful: Petr Cech (hamstring)

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored twice off the bench in each of his last two Premier League games, and he will be hopeful that such form will earn him a starting role this weekend.

The Gabon international was involved in midweek, though, and Aaron Ramsey's 90-minute stint in Lisbon also suggests that the Welshman may be forced to settle for a place on the bench once again at Selhurst Park.

Mesut Ozil had a hand in all three goals against Leicester City on Monday night and should return after being rested on Thursday, while the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka are also expected to come back into the team.

Rob Holding appears to have established himself as Shkodran Mustafi's defensive partner in the absence of injured duo Laurent Koscielny and Konstantinos Movropanos, and Bernd Leno is likely to continue behind them with doubts still lingering over the fitness of Petr Cech.
