How Everton could line up against Arsenal

Sports Mole looks at how Everton may line up for Sunday's Premier League meeting with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Everton travel to Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend seeking a first away win in this fixture since January 1996.

The Toffees are without victory against the Gunners in North London in 24 attempts and have avoided defeat in just four of those matches.

Marco Silva's opening month at Goodison Park has not gone as smoothly as he would have liked, meanwhile, with Everton picking up six points from their first five matches.

Ahead of Sunday afternoon's showdown with Arsenal, Sports Mole looks at how the visitors could line up.

Out: Yerry Mina (foot), James McCarthy (leg), Michael Keane (head), Phil Jagielka (knee), Seamus Coleman (foot), Andre Gomes (hamstring), Beni Baningime (ankle)

No Premier League side has more players out injured than Everton, with the Toffees making the trip to the capital without seven senior players, the majority of whom would be considered for selection had they been fit.

There is one big positive for Silva, though, as Richarlison is back available after serving a three-match domestic ban for his red card against Bournemouth, meaning that Dominic Calvert-Lewin will almost certainly drop down to the bench.

The absence of Coleman at right-back gives Jonjoe Kenny a run in the side, and the academy product did not exactly disappoint in the loss to West Ham United last time out, while on the opposite flank Lucas Digne has usurped Leighton Baines.

With a few central-defensive players out, Mason Holgate and Kurt Zouma have started Everton's last three games and will likely continue that partnership this weekend.

Further forward, Theo Walcott will be looking to build on a tally of two goals and one assist in his first five Prem outings when he returns to his former club.
