Arsenal will hope to stretch their unbeaten run across all competitions to 10 matches when they welcome Watford to the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners have risen to sixth in the table amid their solid run of form, with captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leading from the front for Mikel Arteta.
The Gabon international already has seven goals from 10 appearances this term - four of which have come in the Premier League - and it is fair to say that he has a penchant for playing against the Hornets.
Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at Aubameyang's record against Watford.
Despite only being in England for approximately four seasons, Aubameyang has already made quite the impact in fixtures with Watford, bagging a goal and assist during his first game against them in a 3-0 win in March 2018.
Aubameyang would then proceed to endure stints out wide in the side under Unai Emery and failed to contribute in a 2-0 win at the Emirates during the 2018-19 campaign, but he would bag an unorthodox winner at Vicarage Road later that season.
As Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster dallied, the former Borussia Dortmund man blocked his counterpart's attempted clearance and the ball deflected off his foot into the back of the net, with Arsenal hanging on for the remainder of the contest.
The 2019-20 campaign would prove to be a fruitful one for Aubameyang against Watford, as the 32-year-old would score both of his side's goals in a 2-2 draw at Vicarage Road before having a hand in all three goals (two strikes, one assist) in a 3-2 home win on the final day.
That result would condemn Watford to Championship football for the 2020-21 campaign, so there was no opportunity for Aubameyang to build on his impressive tally last term, but four wins and a draw from five games with the Hornets is a strong record in itself.
Furthermore, Aubameyang enters Sunday's contest boasting two assists and six goals from five Premier League games with Watford - with five of those strikes coming in the most recent three - and one would not put it past the Gunners skipper to add to that impressive tally against Claudio Ranieri's leaky defence.
