Chelsea will be hoping to break into the Premier League's top four on Boxing Day when they make the journey across the capital to take on Arsenal in their second successive London derby.
Frank Lampard's men cruised past fellow capital outfit West Ham United 3-0 on Monday night, with Thiago Silva breaking the deadlock with a first-half header before Tammy Abraham netted a brace in the second 45.
However, Lampard's side have dropped out of the Champions League places in recent weeks, with Everton and Manchester United one point clear of Chelsea heading into the festive fixtures.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their showdown with local rivals Arsenal, who by stark contrast are only four points clear of the relegation zone.
Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Arsenal)
Ben Chilwell - who turned 24 on Monday - did not enjoy the best of birthdays as he lasted 10 minutes against West Ham before being forced off with an ankle injury after a collision with Jarrod Bowen. The left-back will undergo scans on Tuesday to determine the severity of the injury, but Lampard has admitted that Chilwell is doubtful for this London derby.
Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Arsenal)
Chilwell's fellow full-back Reece James played no part against West Ham owing to a knee injury, but thankfully the England international will only need to undergo surgery as a last resort. James has not been ruled out of this game, but Lampard conceded in his pre-match press conference that he is a doubt nonetheless.
Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: January 3 (vs. Manchester City)
While Callum Hudson-Odoi was able to make the bench on Monday, Hakim Ziyech is still waiting to return to the fold after a hamstring injury. The former Ajax man is back in training, but Lampard has confirmed that Ziyech will not play against Arsenal as he continues his recovery over the next week.
CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST
Chelsea have no players suspended for their trip to Arsenal.
