Arsenal have reportedly pencilled in a potential return date for Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

The Gunners have seen their attacking depth tested by injuries to Saka, Martinelli, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.

Unfortunately for Arsenal, Havertz and Jesus will miss the rest of the season due to hamstring and knee injuries respectively, leaving Mikel Arteta without a senior number nine in his squad.

Meanwhile, Arteta is currently working with Leandro Trossard, Raheem Sterling and Ethan Nwaneri as his wide options due to Saka and Martinelli's injury issues.

Saka has been out of action since undergoing hamstring surgery in December, although he was recently pictured working in the gym during Arsenal's warm-weather training camp in Dubai.

Saka, Martinelli return date revealed

Meanwhile, Martinelli missed the recent 2-0 Premier League win over Leicester City after he picked up a hamstring issue in the second leg of the EFL Cup semi-final against Newcastle United.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal are hopeful that Saka and Martinelli could return to action after the March international period which would give them a significant boost in their Premier League title bid.

As a result, the attacking duo could potentially be available for Arsenal's first game back after the break against Fulham on April 1.

However, Saka and Martinelli will not be ready to represent England and Brazil respectively in the next international window.

What games will Saka and Martinelli miss?

While there is hope that the pair will return for the start of April, Arsenal are likely to be without the duo for their next six competitive matches.

They are set to miss Saturday's Premier League home clash against West Ham United as well as meetings with Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Chelsea.

They are expected to be absent for Arsenal's Champions League last-16 tie, with the first leg set to take place on March 4 or 5, before they compete in the return fixture on March 11 or 12.

If Arsenal beat one of Juventus, PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord and AC Milan, Saka and Martinelli should be available for a quarter-final tie in April.
