Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he will be without playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan for Sunday's meeting with Southampton.
The Armenia international injured his knee during the second half of the Gunners' 4-1 win over CSKA Moscow in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Mkhitaryan looked in some pain following the strong challenge in midfield close to the hour mark, and Wenger says that he is now waiting to see the full extent of the damage.
Speaking to reporters after the game, the Frenchman said: "Mkhitaryan has a knee problem. We don't know how bad it is. He will certainly be out for Sunday."
Former Manchester United ace Mkhitaryan has four goals and seven assists since arriving at the Emirates Stadium in January.
