Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is reportedly feeling optimistic that he will not face a lengthy spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
The England international turned his right ankle during last night's 2-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League group stage.
The 22-year-old suffered the problem in the 84th minute of the clash, but had to finish the game because Arsenal had used all three substitutes.
While manager Arsene Wenger expressed concerns over Wilshere's injury after the match, according to The Mirror, the player himself is optimistic that it is not a serious blow.
Reports have claimed that the midfielder may be forced to miss the Gunners' Premier League match against Aston Villa in the Midlands on Saturday.
