Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere stepped up his recovery from an ankle injury by scoring in a friendly encounter against Brentford earlier today.
The 23-year-old, who suffered the complaint back in November, found the back of the net in just the seventh minute with a left-footed strike.
He then set up Arsenal's second goal, which was scored by Daniel Crowley, before a brace from Alex Iwobi secured a 4-0 victory.
Fellow senior players Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Debuchy, Abou Diaby and Mathieu Flamini also started the encounter, having all spent time on the sidelines recently with fitness problems.
January signing Krystian Bielik was also given a 66-minute run-out.
