Chelsea have progressed to the quarter-finals of the League Cup with a 2-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates this evening.

Jose Mourinho's side took the lead 25 minutes into the game, when Cesar Azpilicueta took advantage of a mix up between Carl Jenkinson and Lukasz Fabianski, intercepting the defender's header back towards the keeper to tap the ball in.
Nacho Monreal looked to level the scores five minutes later, making a run from midfield before placing his finish just wide.
Both sides had chances early in the second half, as Samuel Eto'o tried a 20-yard effort before Santi Cazorla smashed his finish just wide at the other end just two minutes later.
In-form Aaron Ramsey tried to level for the home side, unleashing a powerful strike from 20 yards which just missed the bottom corner.
However, Chelsea were able to extend their lead in the 66th minute when Juan Mata picked up the ball from Willian just outside the penalty area before curling it past Fabianski.
Jack Wilshere tried to create an effort for Olivier Giroud in a bid to get the Gunners back in the mix, but Mark Schwarzer came off his line to block the effort.
Mesut Ozil came off the bench as Arsenal continued to look to overturn the two-goal deficit, with the German trying to set up Wilshere, but the England international sliced his finish well high of the bar.
Chelsea will learn their opponents in the final eight when the quarter-finals draw takes place tomorrow.
