Marseille midfielder Lucho Gonzalez is keen to leave the French league, according to his agent.
The 30-year-old Argentine has been linked with a move to a number of European clubs, including Arsenal.
"You'll have to ask Marseille why he wasn't allowed to leave in August," said Federico Simonian. "Like every player he wants to make progress.
"He wants to be transferred to the Italian, Spanish or English leagues. Of course, he will be transferred to a team that deserves and appreciates him."
Gonzalez joined the French club from Porto in 2009.
