Arsenal centre-backs Laurent Koscielny and Johan Djourou could play a part when Sunderland visit the Emirates Stadium on Sunday after recovering from injuries.
The pair have missed the Gunners' last two matches, with midfielder Alex Song being made to fill in at the back in their place.
Both are currently on international duty and will return to Arsenal's training base at London Colney tomorrow ahead of the weekend's Premier League fixture.
French defender Sebastien Squillaci is also back to fitness after failing to figure so far this term.
