Arsenal are set to fight big-spending French outfit Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of Real Madrid midfielder Kaka.
Reports suggest that Arsene Wenger may look to the Brazilian to fill the void left by Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, who both departed the club in the summer.
The 2007 World Player of the Year's time at the Bernabeu has been blighted by injuries since his £56m switch from AC Milan in 2009.
Kaka was linked with a transfer deadline day loan switch to Arsenal's North London neighbours Tottenham, but it is now Arsenal who apparently lead the chase.
