Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta has been singing the praises of fellow midfielder Aaron Ramsey as the Gunners prepare for their opening Premier League fixture of the season.
The 23-year-old Welshman was one of Arsenal's standout performers last season and scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final victory over Hull City in May.
"I've seen the strides forward that Aaron has made," Arteta told the club's official website.
"It has been unbelievable and I am very happy for him because he's developed into one of the best midfielders in Europe."
Arsenal begin their season with the visit of Crystal Palace to the Emirates for today's 5.30pm kickoff.
