Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has hailed the early impact made by Unai Emery since replacing Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium.
Aubameyang scored a 10th-minute hat-trick as the Gunners blew away non-league outfit Boreham Wood 8-0 in their first match of the Emery era on Saturday afternoon.
The Gabon international believes that some tactical tinkering from the ex-Paris Saint-Germain boss has already started to pay off, and on a personal level he hopes to continue his goalscoring form into the new campaign.
"I'm really happy," he told the club's official website following the win at Meadow Park. "It was important to work with the team. We had some great work in the first half.
"I'm really happy everybody played well so that's good. Everybody tries to do good pressing. The coach has done really well during this first two weeks, we are working really hard and trying to improve every day."
Arsenal's next pre-season outing is against Atletico Madrid in the International Champions Cup on July 26.
