Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has claimed that the development of young players is important to the club's supporters.
Bellerin became a regular last season with his fine form at right-back, while Francis Coquelin joined the likes of Kieran Gibbs and Jack Wilshere by becoming the latest academy graduate to force his way into Arsene Wenger's first-team plans, and the Spaniard has praised his manager's eagerness to trust younger players.
"The fans rate that Arsenal don't just buy players, they make them the players they are," the 20-year-old told reporters. "Arsenal fans are really proud of that and I think that's a great thing.
"When players like Francis, Jack or myself come up, the fans should be proud that their team is doing what they're doing.
"That's a great thing Arsenal do."
Bellerin made 28 appearances in all competitions last season.
