Ajax coach Frank de Boer has praised Arsenal loanee Yaya Sanogo's contribution to the club's recent victory over Willem II.
The current Dutch champions completed a comfortable 3-0 win over Willem on Saturday, as Sanogo came off the bench to help see out a positive result for the Lancers.
"It turned out to be a good choice. I exchanged him for Arek because I just wanted a different type of striker," De Boer told Ajax Life.
"Someone who is good at holding the ball up. He is good at that and then we made it 3-0."
Sanogo was recently criticised by Ajax youth coach Ronald de Boer, who claimed that the youngster has no quality to bring to the team.
