Gervinho has insisted that he looks back on his time at Arsenal "positively" but admits that he would have liked to make more appearances for the Gunners.
The 26-year-old left the Emirates Stadium in the summer to join Roma after being deemed surplus to requirements by Arsene Wenger.
"I think my adventure in London was positive," Gervinho told reporters. "I have always dreamed of playing for Arsenal, and I had a good time there.
"It's just a shame that I could not play anymore. But it is not a failure.
"My qualities work in all leagues, I just need to trust."
Gervinho has scored six goals for Roma this season.
