Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs has admitted that he is "desperate" to win a trophy with the club.
The Gunners have not won any silverware since the FA Cup in 2005, two years before Gibbs made his first-team debut for the club.
However, the 23-year-old has already expressed his optimism for next season and believes that the current crop of players are capable of ending their eight-year wait for a trophy.
"We haven't shown it consistently enough in the cups and the league, but you have seen many glimpses of what the team are capable of," said Gibbs.
"We have to focus on every detail to give ourselves the best chance to produce something because we are desperate to win a trophy."
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has also expressed his belief that his side are ready to challenge for honours next season.
