Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs has revealed that surgery on his teammate Theo Walcott has been a success.
Walcott went under the knife on Saturday to repair knee ligament damage, which has ruled him out of action for the remainder of the season and the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil in the summer.
"Great to see this guy today! Successful op, now road to recovery," Gibbs posted on his Instagram.
Arsenal are currently a point behind Chelsea in second place in the Premier League, but have a game in hand.
