Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has insisted that he and his teammates are not getting carried away by their strong start to the season.
The Gunners have yet to lose a competitive game this season, and are currently fifth in the Premier League table with nine points from five matches.
"The start of the season has been very positive - we need to build on that," he told Arsenal's official website. "I feel the players are serene.
"We're not getting carried away, we know it's just the start of the season and everything goes very quick in football.
"We are still unbeaten and it's very good. We are not conceding many goals and we score a lot so it's very good."
Arsenal host Chelsea at the Emirates on Saturday, and Giroud is hoping for another positive result.
"We will face a big team on Saturday, Chelsea, after a very good performance at Man City," he said.
"It will be interesting to see how the team copes. [We hope to] continue our march forward, stay unbeaten and come back to just a point behind them."
Giroud joined Arsenal from French champions Montpellier in the summer.
