Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is finding life at Tottenham Hotspur "hard".
The shot-stopper, who is a teammate of Giroud in the French national side, has had an inconsistent start to his career at White Hart Lane in the summer and hass yet to secure a regular first-team spot in the Premier League.
The Gunners frontman has claimed that he has a close friendship with the keeper, who featured in Spurs' 5-2 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend.
"Hugo is a good friend," Giroud told RTL. "He warned me that he would start the match and we greeted each other beforehand.
"He could not do much for the goals that we scored. It was hard for him. I did not expect to talk with him about his situation. It is not going well for him. It's hard and I'm trying to give him my full support. Things are like that. Everyone knows his qualities."
Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has kept veteran keeper Brad Friedel as his number one option.
