Chelsea star Eden Hazard: 'We should have beaten Arsenal'

Chelsea star Eden Hazard says that the team had enough chances to beat Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has claimed that the team should have come away with all three points against Arsenal on Wednesday night.

The Blues managed to come from behind to take a 2-1 lead, but Hector Bellerin's 92nd-minute goal meant that the contest ended in a 2-2 draw.

Hazard was the man to cancel out Jack Wilshere's opener in the second half of the frantic game after he was awarded a penalty, which Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger described as "farcical".

"It was a 50-50 match, both teams played a really good game," Hazard told Sky Sports News. "Maybe we should have scored more, we missed some chances. The last shot should have been a goal. We are happy though.

"We don't need a replay - it was a penalty. Petr [Cech] is a great goalkeeper, it is always hard to score against him but I put the ball in the net and that was the most important thing. I think we should won this game because of the chances we had."

The Blues remain third in the Premier League table, one point behind second-placed Manchester United.
