Former Arsenal full-back Lauren has tipped the Gunners to land the Premier League title this season.
Arsene Wenger's side have not lifted the championship trophy since 2004, but they are currently in a strong position this term - sitting in second, just three points behind the leaders Chelsea.
The Gunners have notoriously stuttered in November during previous seasons, but they went through the month unbeaten this time around and Lauren is confident in his former team's chances of silverware.
"I was surprised that Arsenal managed to go through the month of November without defeat and this shows that the team is now growing in confidence and belief," Lauren told Goal.com.
"I think they have now learnt from past mistakes and I am convinced they stand a chance of winning the title. If you look at the top, Chelsea have a three-point lead that can be reduced any time. I don't think it is a huge gap for Arsenal and those chasing from behind."
Lauren, who retired from professional football in 2010 after a stint with Spanish side Cordoba, won two league titles during his time at Arsenal, landing the trophy in 2002 and 2004.
