Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay believes that today's 3-0 defeat to Arsenal was harsh on his team.
Two goals from Aaron Ramsey on his return and another from Mathieu Flamini saw the Gunners come out on top in the Welsh capital, leaving the Bluebirds 17th and without a win in three.
"The score is not a fair reflection of the game, but I am not going to apologise for having a go," the Scot told reporters.
"That's what we did, and we certainly gave them some problems in the second half. The calmness on the ball in the second half makes me very proud of the players.
"We were playing against the best and were certainly not out of our league."
Cardiff travel to Stoke City on Wednesday.
