New Arsenal signing Shkodran Mustafi will be available to make his debut for the club during next weekend's Premier League clash with Southampton.
The 24-year-old emerged as a doubt for the match after picking up an ankle injury on international duty with Germany earlier this week.
Mustafi picked up the injury during the world champions' 2-0 win over Finland in Bastian Schweinsteiger's farewell match, just one day after confirming his move to the Gunners.
However, the club have now confirmed that the problem is not serious and that the central defender is expected to be fit for the match in North London on September 10.
Mustafi's protracted transfer to Arsenal finally came to an end on Tuesday when he joined in a deal that could rise to £35m.
