Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has withdrawn from England's international friendly with Italy due to an ankle injury.
The 18-year-old, who featured for Roy Hodgson's side at Euro 2012, has become the latest Premier League player to pull out of Wednesday's clash following the exits of Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart and Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge.
The Football Association have confirmed that the winger will play no part in the contest. However, Man City defender Joleon Lescott has been called up to the national side, despite being left out of the initial squad.
The Three Lions will take on the Azzurri for the first time since they were beaten by the Italians on penalties in the quarter-final of Euro 2012 in June.
