Petr Cech has claimed that he is "happy" with how his Arsenal debut went after featuring in the team's 3-1 win over Everton in the Premier League Asia Trophy final.
The goalkeeper played the full 90 minutes in Singapore as the Gunners claimed their first piece of silverware this season.
Cech believes that his first appearance in an Arsenal shirt will be helpful in getting him sharp for the new campaign.
"I'm happy with the way I played," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "This is the first game of the pre-season and as I said, I'm glad that I went through the 90 minutes, and I'm happy at the way I was concentrating through the whole game. The main thing for me was to win the game, to get sharp."
Arsenal are back in pre-season action next weekend when they host the annual Emirates Cup.
