Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted that the Gunners must start taking their chances after a narrow 1-0 victory over Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
The skipper netted Arsenal's first goal of the season in the 66th minute of a scrappy encounter, although his side failed to take plenty of opportunities to kill the game off.
Mikel Arteta's side only scored once in 30 attempts on goal on Saturday, and while Aubameyang has acknowledged his side's shortcomings, the striker paid tribute to a first win of the season.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Aubameyang said: "Overall we played well. We had a lot of chances. We have to be a bit more clinical in front of goal but everyone gave everything on the pitch.
"I'm just really happy. The first three points of the season. It was tough weeks so we had to make sure we won this game in front of our fans. The most important thing today was to play with pride and that's what we did."
Arsenal now have a week to rest and recuperate before a trip to Burnley in gameweek five of the 2021-22 Premier League season. body check tags ::
