Nicolas Anelka is reportedly heading to India for a second spell with Mumbai City FC.
The former Chelsea and Arsenal striker featured for Mumbai during the Indian Super League's inaugural season, scoring two goals in seven games.
The 36-year-old saw his move to Algerian club Nasr Athletique d'Hussein-Dey blocked earlier in the year due to his age, but a move to India is now likely, according to Sky Sports News.
Indranil Blah, the CEO of Mumbai City FC, said: "We are evaluating several options, including Anelka. We will make an announcement within the next two weeks."
Anelka was joined by David Trezeguet, Elano and Luis Garcia in last year's ISL.
