Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has insisted that his side will not get carried away after recording back-to-back home wins in the last week.
The Gunners shrugged off a poor start to November by trouncing Tottenham Hotspur before securing a place in the knockout stage of the Champions League with victory over Montpellier.
Szczesny admitted that Arsenal need to prove they can get results consistently if they are to challenge for honours this season.
He told the club's official website: "We have only had a couple of good results. We want to get a longer run of good results and good performances and then we can start talking about the real Arsenal.
"At the moment we've got the momentum we just want to keep it going now. We want to show in our performances how good we are.
"You have your ups and downs and we had a tough couple of weeks recently. But we came back stronger than ever against Tottenham on Saturday. We want to enjoy that moment for as long as we can. It's normal that we have ups and downs."
Arsene Wenger's side return to Premier League action with two away games in four days, facing Aston Villa on Saturday before a midweek match against Everton.
