Arsenal captain Thomas Vermaelen has revealed that he is 'feeling good' after making his return to action following a back injury.
The Belgian defender played his first match in three months last week as the Gunners defeated West Bromwich Albion in round three of the Capital One Cup.
"Two hours of football was a challenge for me after three months out, but I was really happy to come through it and was actually quite surprised at how well I felt in the couple of days afterwards," Vermaelen told the club's official website.
"It wasn't easy, of course, but I felt good physically. I worked hard during my injury so I am happy with how things have turned out."
Arsenal continue their Champions League campaign tonight (Tuesday) when they host Napoli at the Emirates Stadium in Group F.
