Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admitted that Chelsea had more of a cutting edge as they slipped to a 2-0 reverse against the Blues on Sunday afternoon.
Goals from Eden Hazard and Diego Costa condemned the Gunners to defeat at Stamford Bridge and Wenger accepted that the home side were more clinical.
He told reporters after the game: "It was down to the little things that were on their side but it was a very even game.
"If you look at the number of saves our keeper had made, you find nothing, and theirs as well - so the game was about who can take advantage of an opportunity.
"We couldn't score and they did so, at the end of the day, you have to say yes, [Chelsea were more ruthless]."
The loss leaves the Gunners in eighth in the Premier League.
