Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has acknowledged that he cannot disagree with the suggestion that Harry Kane is the best forward in Europe.
Last weekend, Kane netted his 100th Premier League goal for Tottenham Hotspur in just his 138th appearance, while the England international has finished as top scorer in the top flight in the past two campaigns.
Kane will hope to add to his tally of 31 for this season when Spurs face Arsenal on Saturday afternoon, and Wenger has admitted that he must look for a way to nullify the threat of the 24-year-old.
At his pre-match press conference, the Frenchman told reporters: "If you look at the numbers, no. I can talk and talk and talk, but it's the numbers which will show that [he needs to be stopped].
"The best way to defend is to have the numbers and take the game to them."
Arsenal currently sit four points adrift of fifth-placed Spurs in the league standings.
