Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised Everton counterpart Roberto Martinez for overseeing their impressive start to the Premier League campaign.
The Toffees currently sit in fifth in the table, seven points behind top-flight leaders Arsenal, who welcome the Merseysiders to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
It is Martinez's first season in charge at Goodison Park, and Wenger believes that he has done "remarkably well" to put Everton in such a promising position, considering their difficult fixtures.
"Martinez has done remarkably well because they had difficult games," he told reporters. "They have played many of the big teams in the league and overall are in a very strong position in the league.
"They have just come out of a win against Manchester United. We are lucky this season a little bit, because there is always a big warning before we play these teams they have exceptional results.
"That keeps us on our toes. We know for us it is a big game."
Everton have already played United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City in the Premier League this term and have picked up eight points from a possible 15 in those five matches.
