Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that Nicklas Bendtner could still have a future with Arsenal.
The Danish international, who spent last season on loan at Sunderland, completed a short-term switch to Juventus on transfer deadline day.
However, Wenger said that he is "convinced" that the 24-year-old can fulfill his potential with the Bianconeri.
"It is not for nothing that I loaned him to Juventus," Wenger toldTuttosport. "He is a talented player. There he will grow and then return to my team.
"I am convinced that at a team like Juventus, in a very difficult league, especially for strikers, he can make the final leap in quality.
"Don't forget, he is a boy of 24 years. The right age to prove who he is. The talent is not missing, otherwise I would not have bought him from Copenhagen when he was just 16 years old."
Bendtner scored eight goals in 25 Premier League appearances for the Black Cats last season.
