Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that he has been left impressed by January signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The playmaker arrived at the Emirates Stadium when Alexis Sanchez moved to Manchester United, and the Armenian international contributed three assists on his first start for the club against Everton last weekend.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also netted his first Gunners goal in the game with the Toffees, and Wenger has backed the pair to continue to make an impact in Arsenal's upcoming matches.
At a press conference, the Frenchman told reporters: "He has a very professional attitude in training and matches. I'm not surprised by that - to me, it's completely normal."
On Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang as a pair, Wenger added: "Once the game has started, these guys have top-level experience. They know what's important and that's to focus on their performance.
"These guys are top quality players. Why should they not repeat the performance [versus Everton]."
Arsenal make the short trip to Wembley Stadium to face rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
