Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that he is concerned that winger Alexis Sanchez could pick up an injury should he keep starting games for the club.
Sanchez, who signed for the Gunners from Barcelona in the summer, has been forced to continue featuring in the starting lineup due to injuries at the Emirates Stadium.
However, while Wenger has revealed that he has been impressed with the performances of the Chilean, he admits that he is beginning to run a higher risk of injury due to the number of minutes that he has played.
The Frenchman told reporters: "He is in the red zone, you can see that when he plays. I think that he played his 27th game of the season in midweek when you take into account the international games and the travelling on top of that.
"Unfortunately, you don't know how far you can push because we aren't scientifically advanced to predict that completely but he always seems to recovery quickly and he always wants to play."
Sanchez is expected to start when Arsenal travel to Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
