Arsene Wenger has revealed that he was furious with the red card given to Aaron Ramsey in Arsenal's goalless draw with Besiktas on Tuesday night.
The draw leaves the Champions League qualifying tie delicately poised ahead of next week's second leg, and Wenger could not hide his disappointment with the two yellow cards given to Ramsey, who will miss the next match against the Turkish side at the Emirates Stadium.
"Both yellow cards for Aaron Ramsey are unbelievable," the Gunners boss told ITV. "When you see the fouls they have made today it's not serious. Just not serious.
"It was a game played with a frenetic pace. We didn't lose the game, and hopefully we'll finish the job at home."
Arsenal have reached the group stage of the Champions League in each of the past 16 seasons.
