Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has credited goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski for playing a big role in Swansea City's win over the Gunners.
The former Arsenal shot-stopper was dominant between the sticks at the Emirates Stadium last night as the visitors earned a surprise 1-0 victory.
Despite his team being on the wrong end of the result, Wilshere insists that he is happy to see Fabianski thriving at Swansea.
"I thought Fabianski was brilliant," the England international told the club's official website. "In the second half we did create a few chances that we should be scoring but Fabianski was there and he's been fantastic for them this year.
"I'm happy for him - he's been my friend for a good number of years while we were at Arsenal. He's grown as a player and seems to be growing as a person as well, and I'm happy for him."
Arsenal are back in Premier League action on Sunday when they will take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.
