How Arsenal could line up against West Ham United

Sports Mole looks at how out-of-form Arsenal could line up for Monday night's Premier League clash with West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Arsenal travel to the London Stadium on Monday night looking to end their longest wait for a victory since 1977.

The Gunners have failed to win any of their last nine matches across all competitions and have gone more than two months without a three-point haul in the Premier League.

Thursday's abject 2-1 defeat at home to Brighton & Hove Albion was arguably the lowest point of that spell, and interim boss Freddie Ljungberg must now pick his players up against a West Ham side in poor form themselves.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Arsenal could line up for the London derby.

Changes could be in the offing for Arsenal after such a poor display last time out, with record signing Nicolas Pepe pushing for his first league start since October having made an impact off the bench against Brighton.

The £72m man has struggled to adapt to life in English football so far, but could replace Joe Willock in the starting lineup after the youngster was hooked at half time on Thursday.

Pepe's inclusion would leave a star-studded front four, although speculation continues to grow over the long-term futures of Alexandre Lacazette and captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Matteo Guendouzi and Kieran Tierney will also be hopeful of benefitting from any rotation, but Shkodran Mustafi looks set to miss out again having been dropped from the matchday squad altogether in midweek.

The Gunners have no new injury concerns, meanwhile, with Dani Ceballos and Rob Holding their only two absentees.
