Arsenal have earned a goalless draw against Athletic Bilbao in their NextGen Series encounter at the San Mames.
The hosts had a great chance to take the lead in the 22nd minute when Guillermo Fernandez was brought down in the area. However, the scores remained level as Gunners goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook pushed the striker's spot kick around the post.
Fernandez was then given his marching orders before the half-time whistle following what appeared to be an elbow on Sead Hajrovic.
Arsenal pushed hard to make the breakthrough after the break, but Serge Gnabry was denied twice by Bilbao shotstopper Kepa Arrizabaiaga.
The home side weren't hampered by their numerical disadvantage but they also failed the find the net as both teams were forced to settle for a point.
