Former Arsenal manager Unai Emery has reportedly been approached by Everton with regards to potentially replacing Marco Silva as manager at Goodison Park.
The former Valencia, Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain coach was sacked by Arsenal last month after a poor start to the season.
According to Sky Sports News, Emery spoke to Everton about the vacancy in London but said that he needs more time to think about his future.
The report states that the 48-year-old Spaniard would consider a role in England, Spain or Italy for his next job.
Both Arsenal and Everton have had poor starts to the Premier League season and sit 11th and 14th in the table respectively.
Everton interim manager Duncan Ferguson did manage a win in his first game in charge against Chelsea on Saturday, with the Toffees running out 3-1 winners.
