Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester City

:Headline: Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester City:
Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Premier League clash with Manchester City.
Sports Mole

Arsenal will be aiming to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table to six points when they face title rivals Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

After drawing 1-1 at home to Brentford on Saturday, the Gunners saw the buffer reduced to just three points on Sunday as the Citizens claimed a comfortable 3-1 win over Aston Villa.

The hosts are only one of two clubs - alongside Newcastle - who are yet to lose a home Premier League game this season, and they will be aiming to keep that record intact against the reigning champions.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their top-of-the-table clash with Man City, who will leapfrog the Gunners on goal difference with a win.

Reiss Nelson

Status: Major Doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: February 15 (vs. Manchester City)

Reiss Nelson is reportedly back in full training following a hamstring injury, and he is in contention to be included in the matchday squad on Wednesday.

Gabriel Jesus

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: March 4 (vs. Bournemouth)

Gabriel Jesus has recently hinted that he could return in a few weeks' time, but Mikel Arteta has been unwilling to place a timeframe on his recovery.

Mohamed Elneny

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

After undergoing surgery on a knee injury last month, Mohamed Elneny could be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Emile Smith Rowe

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Emile Smith Rowe returned from injury for last month's FA Cup win against Oxford United, but he subsequently picked up a thigh problem in training. The winger has now missed the last three games, and while he is fit enough to take part in some form of training, he is not expected to be involved on Wednesday.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match.
