Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Arsenal

:Headline: Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Arsenal:
Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Premier League clash with Arsenal.
Sports Mole

Liverpool will endeavour to keep the pressure on Premier League leaders Manchester City when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates in Wednesday's battle.

Jurgen Klopp's side recorded a 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in Saturday's early kickoff, as Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah found the target on the South coast.

Liverpool - who have now amassed 2,000 goals in the Premier League - have closed the gap on Man City at the top to three points, although the champions could extend that to six with victory over Crystal Palace on Monday night.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with the Gunners.

Ibrahima Konate

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: March 16 (vs. Arsenal)

Ibrahima Konate picked up a knock in training last week and was not ready to face Brighton, but the centre-back should make himself available for the trip to the Emirates after returning to training.

Mohamed Salah

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: March 16 (vs. Arsenal)

Mohamed Salah had to be withdrawn at the Amex Stadium due to a foot injury, and while Klopp does not believe the issue is too serious, he is still facing a race against time to be fit for Wednesday.

James Milner

Status: Out
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: Unknown

Klopp revealed in his pre-match press conference that James Milner was set to miss the Arsenal clash, with the 36-year-old coming down with an illness.

Kostas Tsimikas

Status: Out
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: Unknown

As is the case with Milner, left-back Kostas Tsimikas will also sit out Wednesday's game after falling victim to a virus.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no players suspended for this game.
